PCA3 and carcinoma: When the five studied prostate cross-sections were looked at individually, the same trend of statistically significantly higher PCA3 mRNA expression in carcinoma areas persisted only for prostate C, where the difference between medians of carcinoma and HB samples was 20-fold (p < 0.003), and for prostate D with a 5.2-fold difference (p < 0.001).
