Sarcoma patients had increased expression of CTLA-4, a T-cell inhibitory receptor, on both CD4 (38 % sarcoma vs. 16 % HV; p = 0.05) and CD8 T cells (37 % sarcoma vs. 12 % HV; p = 0.05) as compared to HV (Fig. 1e). The gene discussed is CD4; the disease is sarcoma.
