SRPK1 and SRPK2 have been found overexpressed in different types of cancer including breast, colon, pancreatic carcinomas, leukemia, nonsmall cell lung carcinoma, squamous cell lung carcinoma, gliomas, ovary, and hepatocellular carcinoma [62–64, 74, 103, 104]. The gene discussed is SRPK1; the disease is squamous cell lung carcinoma.
