AKAP13 and breast carcinoma: A number of these AKAPs have been reported to correlate with the occurrence of different cancer subtypes, including AKAP3 (ovarian cancer) [28, 29], AKAP4 (multiple myeloma) [30], AKAP9 (breast cancer) [31], AKAP10 (breast cancer) [32] and AKAP13 (colorectal cancer [33] and breast cancer [34]).
