In ductal carcinomas, p120ctn and PLEKHA7 localization overlapped at the ZA (arrow and magnified inset in Fig 3A), however, as previously shown in rodent epithelia [14] p120ctn was also localized, similarly to E-cadherin, to lateral contacts (red labeling indicated by small arrow in Fig 3A, inset). Here, PLEKHA7 is linked to breast ductal adenocarcinoma.
