By multiple linear regression analysis, unesterified cholesterol transfer was independently associated with the presence of CAD (β = −0.416, p = 0.003), LCAT activity (β = −3.184, p < 0.001), apo A-I (β = −0.037, p < 0.001), apo B (β = −0.017, p < 0.001), fasting glycemia (β = −0.005, p = 0.003), and sex (β = −0.365, p = 0.021).
