FoxM1 plays a central role in regulating many cellular functions, including cell proliferation, cell survival, and immortalization, and is critical to carcinogenesis and metastasis of cancers, including gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, breast cancer, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, glioma and malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors [26, 27, 41, 42]. This evidence concerns the gene FOXM1 and malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor.
