Two enone fatty acids, GV-c9, and GV-c10 (25) (Figure 11) from Gracilaria verrucosa, a marine red alga with anti-oxidant and anti-cancer properties, inhibited NF-κB reporter activity by blocking NF-κB nuclear translocation as well as JAK/STAT (p-STAT1) signaling [86].
