OSBP and hydrops fetalis: The peak SNP (rs30796836, P = 8.37 × 10−7) has a significant cis-eQTL with the transcript levels of the Osbp (oxysterol binding protein) gene in adipose tissue of HF/HS-fed mice (females: P = 1.51 × 10−12; males: P = 2.54 × 10−10), and the abundance of Ruminococcus gnavus negatively correlated with expression of Osbp (r = −0.36; P = 0.00014) (Table 2; Supplemental Fig. 5; Supplemental Table 7).
