Monoclonal anti-human IL-8 antibody to rabbits with SAP could attenuate the inflammatory response in lung tissue and decrease the severity of pancreatitis, through the inhibition of circulating pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-8 and TNF-α, removal of the neutrophil infiltration into the pancreas and lung tissue and down-regulation of the adhesion molecule complex CD11b/CD18 62. Here, TNF is linked to pancreatitis.
