RAGE can activate multiple signaling pathways, including the PI3K/AKT kinases and the protein members MAPK family ERK1/2, JNK and p38 [9]; to confirm RAGE functionality in this cell model, we measured the RAGE-dependent signaling of these pathways in A7r5 cells stimulated by AGE-HSA and CML-HSA. This evidence concerns the gene AGER and chronic myelogenous leukemia, BCR-ABL1 positive.
