LEP and Infertility: Fertility rate and numberof good quality embryos in unexplained infertilegroup were lower in comparison to explained andcontrol group, but there were no significant differences. It seems that further studies are required toestablish effect of high follicular leptin level on infertility. It seems that systemic effects of leptin inblood flow differ from its local effects in follicularfluid as it was observed in the present study thatunexplained infertile group had higher follicularfluid leptin level and lower serum leptin level incomparison to the other two groups.
