TP53 and neoplasm: Our analysis of 17,584 tumor samples with a variety of human cancer types in The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database showed that the TP53 gene was frequently mutated in ovarian (90.66%), uterine carcinosarcoma (89.5%), esophageal (71.9%), head and neck (70.18%), lung (60%), colorectal (54.14%), and other cancers.
