In renal cell carcinoma, high CRP yielded a worse CSS (random-effect model; [HR] = 1.65, 95% [CI] = 1.29–2.10; p < 0.01) (Fig. 2A) and OS (random-effects model; [HR] = 1.97, 95% [CI] = 1.58–2.44; p < 0.01) (Fig. 2B). Here, CRP is linked to hereditary clear cell renal cell carcinoma.
