Using this cellular model, we demonstrated that stable silencing of Akt2 had no impact on the incidence of LNM35 lymph node metastasis but led to the inhibition of their growth (13.3 mg +/−3.37 in the Akt2-shRNA group in comparison with 27.4 mg +/−8.54 in the control-shRNA group). Here, AKT2 is linked to metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
