In agreement with previous studies [7–26], we confirmed that a reduction in both striatal DAT uptake and cardiac MIBG uptake are characteristic features of DLB, and the combined use of DAT SPECT and MIBG myocardial scintigraphy was more useful for differentiating DLB from AD, compared with either of these two methods alone. The gene discussed is SLC6A3; the disease is Alzheimer disease.
