Due to the strong functional and phenotypic effects seen in primary NSCLC tumour cells in 3-D screening assays treated with CDCP1-binding antibodies, the activity of αCDCP1-Ab3 was tested for tumour growth inhibition in vivo using patient-derived xenografts of Tumour #3, a stage IV recurrent, metastatic NSCLC tumour, implanted subcutaneously in immunodeficient mice. This evidence concerns the gene CDCP1 and neoplasm.
