In this present study, several genes, with possible functions in CAD, were significant in the GRAIL pathway analyses; C3AR1 has been associated with childhood bronchial asthma, a common chronic inflammatory disease characterized by hyperresponsive airways, excess mucus production, eosinophil activation, and the production of IgE [56]; IL31 involved in skin inflammation and pruritus [57] and in inflammatory bowel disease; and the SERPINA gene family with its anti-inflammatory properties are interesting for inflammatory disease. The gene discussed is C3AR1; the disease is inflammatory bowel disease.
