In their mouse model for autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, Newman and colleagues demonstrated that vaccination with lymphoma cells secreting antibodies in combination with IL-2/anti-IL-2 mAb complexes (clone S4B6) induced strong antitumor responses of cytotoxic cells (CD8+ T cells and NK cells) and thus prevented the establishment of hematologic cancers [48].
