In this study, high expression of C14ORF166 protein correlated significantly with advanced tumor stage, larger tumor size, death, lymph node metastasis, and poorer survival, suggesting that C14ORF166 may not only play a role in promoting the growth of the primary tumor but may also be associated with the development of lymph node metastasis in cervical cancer. The gene discussed is RTRAF; the disease is cervical carcinoma.
