VEGFA and neovascular glaucoma: The major causes of the decrease in vision in eyes with CRVO are macula edema and neovascular glaucoma (NVG).[1–4] It is known that increased levels of ocular vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) are also associated with both macular edema and NVG in CRVO eyes.[5–8] Thus, it is important to estimate the ocular VEGF concentration to determine the prognosis in eyes with a CRVO.
