Regarding Gata3 and Foxp3 mRNA, hyperglycemia induced a significant augmentation of Gata3 (Fig. 3c, p < 0.01) and Fox3 mRNA (Fig. 3d, p < 0.05) in the Control group only, suggesting that hyperglycemia could induce the transcription of Gata3 and Foxp3 as representatives of Th2 and Treg in the MLNs in the healthy condition, not the endotoxemic condition.
