Multiple classes of vascular-targeted therapeutics ranging from vascular endothelial growth factor inhibitors [22–24], tyrosine kinase inhibitors [25, 26] and immunomodulatory agents such as linomide [27], thalidomide [28], and tasquinimod [29] have been evaluated for their antiangiogenic and antitumor activity against prostate cancer with mixed results.
