CDH1 and nephrolithiasis: Our data further confirmed that blockage of the L-type calcium channel by nifedipine and SiCav1.2 (refer to Figure S1) could lead to increased E-cadherin, but decreased mesenchymal and osteochondral gene expression, which indicated that the L-type calcium channel acts as an important intermediary in the development of kidney stone formation associated with calcium influx.
