It is known that phosphorylation of PXN and PKT2 contributes to reorganization of focal adhesions and cell motility in lung cancer.67 The interaction between PXN and PTK2 proteins, following their phosphorylation, found in Cell–Matrix adhesion module might be a sign of for increased cell motility potential in the studied lung cancer subset (Figure 6b). This evidence concerns the gene PTK2 and lung cancer.
