It is known that phosphorylation of PXN and PKT2 contributes to reorganization of focal adhesions and cell motility in lung cancer.67 The interaction between PXN and PTK2 proteins, following their phosphorylation, found in Cell–Matrix adhesion module might be a sign of for increased cell motility potential in the studied lung cancer subset (Figure 6b). The gene discussed is PTK2; the disease is lung carcinoma.
