Given the facts that miR-1238 is frequently down-regulated not only in human cancer tissues [17-18], but also in human epithelia-derived cancer cells [19, 26] and our data that LHX2 is required for NSCLC cell proliferation (Figure 5), leading us consider the possibility that miR-1238 may inhibit NSCLC cell proliferation.
