Since JNK signalling is central to many cooperative interactions examined by us and others (Brumby et al., 2011; Brumby and Richardson, 2003; Enomoto and Igaki, 2013; Igaki et al., 2006; Leong et al., 2009; Turkel et al., 2013; Uhlirova and Bohmann, 2006), inhibiting the JNK pathway in addition to Bcl6 in Bcl6-driven cancers might also be a promising therapeutic approach to combat these cancers. This evidence concerns the gene MAPK8 and cancer.
