Compared with diabetic CKD patients with hypertension, diabetic patients were older and had: higher BMI, higher BP load and 24h DBP levels, higher fasting glucose, cholesterol, LDL-C, creatinine, PTH levels, lower eGFR and hemoglobin, higher cIMT (p<0.05) compared with non-diabetic CKD patients without hypertension(p<0.05) (Table 1). This evidence concerns the gene PTH and chronic kidney disease.
