In conclusion, here we demonstrated that the regulation of glycolysis by mTORC1 inhibitor was involved not only in mTORC1, but also in feedback activation of AKT pathway in NSCLC cells, and that there were the synergistic effects between mTOR complex 1/2 and glycolysis inhibitors, suggesting the application of a glycolysis inhibitor may further enhance the anticancer effect of mTORC1/2 inhibitors in the treatment of NSCLC. Here, AKT1 is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
