To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study to evaluate the potential antiallodynic effects of ALA in a rodent model of MS-induced neuropathic pain, and we show that pain-relief appears to be mediated by attenuation of upregulated BDNF-TrkB-ERK signaling in the spinal dorsal horn of RR-EAE mice. This evidence concerns the gene NTRK2 and myeloid sarcoma.
