Serum chemerin level was positively correlated with age (R = 0.395, P < 0.01 in osteoporosis group; R = 0.250, P = 0.016 in control), BMI (R = 0.391, P < 0.01 in osteoporosis group; R = 0.249, P = 0.016 in control), and FBG (R = 0.428, P < 0.01 in osteoporosis group; R = 0.340, P < 0.01 in control). This evidence concerns the gene RARRES2 and osteoporosis.
