We identified a total of 18 such genes, with seven of them exhibiting underexpression in cancer (EYA4, SETBP1, PRDM2, PRDM5, CBX7, DUSP1 and KAT2B), and 11 exhibiting overexpression (RAD54L, WHSC1, EZH2, UHRF1, PCNA, TTF2, KDM1A, SUV39H2, HDAC1, TDG and TET3) (Fig. 4a). Here, PRDM2 is linked to cancer.
