In our study the univariate logistic regression models revealed that factors variables which increased the likelihood of having been diagnosed with depressive syndrome in patients with MCI were female gender, older age, smoking habit, higher BMI, previous stroke, neuropathy, increased number of comorbidities, and higher levels of HbA1c, hs-CRP, sICAM-1, sVCAM-1, and sE-selectin. This evidence concerns the gene CRP and depressive disorder.
