No significant relationships between patient immunoglobulin responses torIGP48 and a range of demographic, pathobiological parameters, including stageof infection, ethnicity, gender, anaemia, plasma IgG and IgM concentrations andplasma cytokine (IFN-γ, TNF-α, IL-6 and IL-10) concentrations were detected(data not shown), and nor was there a relationship to total serum IgG and IgMconcentrations. The gene discussed is IL10; the disease is infection.
