SHR-specific genes isolated from the kidneys of 3-week-old rats included possible candidate genes that trigger hypertension (Bcl6 and Sox2), and SHRSP-specific genes isolated from the kidneys of 3-week-old rats included possible candidate genes that trigger stroke, such as Agt, Agtrap and Apoh. The results obtained from SHRSP-specific genes isolated from the kidneys of 6-week-old rats included 6 genes that have been functionally annotated to Huntington's disease (Banp, Ephx2, Rbfox1, Rxrg, Ryr1 and Zbtb16). This evidence concerns the gene BANP and stroke disorder.
