Compared with ER-/PgR- patients, those with ER-/PgR+ tumours were non-significantly younger at the time of diagnosis (median age 50 versus 59 years, p = 0.28), were less likely to be high grade (50.0% vs 75.7%, p = 0.001) and had smaller median tumor sizes (1.85cm vs. 2.5cm, p = 0.01).
