In the present study, we examined RIPK4 expression in a relatively large cohort of cervical cancer specimens, including chronic cervicitis specimens and those determined to be pre-malignant and malignant by IHC, and we demonstrated that the expression level of RIPK4 can serve as an effective diagnostic biomarker for the diagnosis of HSIL versus chronic cervicitis/LSIL as well as a prognostic factor for CSCC. This evidence concerns the gene RIPK4 and cervical carcinoma.
