Stratified analyses indicated the RAN rs14035 combined CT+TT genotype was associated with decreased CRC risk in male patients (AOR = 0.493; 95% CI, 0.308–0.791; P = 0.003), patients without DM (AOR = 0.618; 95% CI, 0.438–0.874; P = 0.006), and patients with rectal cancer (AOR = 0.640; 95% CI, 0.43–0.954; P = 0.028; Table 6). Here, RAN is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
