CACNA1C and invasive lobular breast carcinoma: The BMC Cancer database [83] revealed CACNA1C expression in invasive lobular breast carcinoma/normal tissue with a 1.9-fold change (Table 2); thus, we speculated that patients with invasive lobular breast carcinoma with high expression of CACNA1C relative to normal tissue were at risk for metastasis to the gastrointestinal tract, peritoneum, retroperitoneum, and gynecological organs.
