In contrast, we observed a significant up-regulation of the ‘pathways in cancer’ in IPEC-J2 with P53 as the most important gene, but another marked function of this gene is the role in regulating cell growth and the differentiation through up- and down-regulating different genes like LIG1, MCL-1, P21, BAD, BAX and BCL-2 [23].
