Downregulation of various APM components and of HLA class I has been shown to be associated with detrimental survival among cervical carcinoma patients [3]; in particular, downregulation of ERAP1 (endoplasmic reticulum aminopeptidase associated with antigen presentation 1) has been demonstrated to be an independent predictor of overall and disease-free survival [3]. Here, ANPEP is linked to cervical carcinoma.
