A20, also known as TNFAIP3, was first identified as a TNF primary response transcript encoding a 790 amino acid protein with a unique zinc finger motif, and it is a ubiquitin-editing enzyme that is an essential negative regulator of inflammation via its zinc finger domains in C-terminus and OUT (ovarian tumor) domain in N-terminus. Here, TNFAIP3 is linked to ovarian neoplasm.
