Uric acid, hsCRP, leptin, resistin, and AGE-Fl/Alb levels were significantly higher and those of adiponectin, CML/Alb and sRAGE lower in subjects presenting high number of risk factors in comparison with their counterparts presenting 1 and 2 risk factors. This evidence concerns the gene LEP and chronic myelogenous leukemia, BCR-ABL1 positive.
