With regard to the sensitivity of detecting each tumor, 24 of 26 (92.3%) prostate cancers had positive findings for PSA, 30 of 41 (73.2%) multiple myelomas had positive findings for IEP, 6 of 12 (50.0%) liver cancers had positive findings for AFP, 6 of 12 (50.0%) liver cancers had positive findings for PIVKA-II and 9 of 23 (39.1%) lymphomas had positive findings for IL-2 (Supplemental Table C in S1 File). This evidence concerns the gene AFP and prostate cancer.
