Interestingly, there was a significant association between GDS scores and the frequency of peripheral IL10+ CD4 T cells in hip fracture patients, β = .34, p = .04, ΔR2 = .11, such that hip fracture patients with greater depressive symptoms (GDS score) had a higher frequency of IL10+ CD4 T cells (Fig. 2c). This evidence concerns the gene IL10 and hip fracture.
