CPS1 and glucose metabolism disease: Functional annotations of SPARC and its partner proteins in the liver (CA3, CPS1, RARhoGAP/ARHGAP20, and BHMT) found with Ingenuity as shown in S3 Table, were interesting in light of the significant functionalities implicated in determining cell fate, like cellular function and maintenance, growth, differentiation, proliferation, cell death and survival, apoptosis, fibrosis, fibrogenesis, wound healing, regeneration of liver, inflammatory response, free radical scavenging, and glucose metabolism disorder.
