SNAI2 and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma: In addition to these genes, the 4-NQO(L), but not the 4-NQO(E) samples showed increases in the transcript levels of MMPs 3 (7.7 fold), 9 (5.6 fold), 10 (693.1 fold), 12 (30.1 fold), 14 (2.6 fold); tenascin C (TNC), involved in cell migration [29] (4.0 fold); and Slug, which participates in epithelial to mesenchymal transition and cell migration in HNSCC [30] (4.6 fold).
