Consistent with these observations, the expression of several genes that are essential for the development and activation of B cells such as Batf, Cd22, Ch25h, IghM, St6gal1, and Tnfrsf9 was found to be decreased or remained unaltered in tumor tissues of the MS-exposed mice, while their expression levels rose in the surrounding parenchyma. The gene discussed is TNFRSF9; the disease is neoplasm.
