Compared to those in wild-type mice, adenomas from Mutyh−/− mice showed a distinct infiltrate of Foxp3+ regulatory T cells (Table 1, Figure 5C, 5D), along with a concomitant strong expression of TGF-β1 latency-associated peptide (LAP) (Table 1 and Figure 5E, 5F) visible both in infiltrating cells and in the dysplastic epithelium (Figure 5F).
