Next, we compared the levels of DNA methylation for CpG sites mapped in eleven melanoma-associated genes (BAP1, CDK4, CDKN2A, MC1R, MGMT, MITF, PALB2, POT1, TERT, TNF, and TNFRSF10C) between melanoma patients and controls. The gene discussed is PALB2; the disease is melanoma.
